More than a few of us have to deal with lag, but besides the usual tips of "turn off post-processing" and "hide your cloak," there was no comprehensive guide to eking out the most speed from your system.
Until now.
Check in the miscellaneous guides section, and see what you might have been missing.

Re: Dealing with lag
Very awesome Pren. If only had posted this before I got my super awesome computer, I really needed it just a couple of weeks ago.
Back on my old laptop I only turned down the graphics, I didn't realize there were some options in the social and UI settings that would help with lag.
Awesome guide, thanks once again!

Agreed. This is great info that most wouldn't think to make into a guide. Kudos.

Re: Dealing with lag
Great guide Pren!
Something you might also want to add is that some area which has fire/lava and sometime water (the first time the watcher yell at us), make lag worse.
One way to minimize that lag is to look away from where that area is (look at the door for the watcher, which reduce the lag a bit. Same for SG first boss, depending where you stand. Either look at the ceiling or the wall, while trying to avoid to have any ''grate'' floor on your screen, because the lava under it drop fps by 10-20 (for me at least
))
